Ferry Times for Returning Students on First Day of School

Hello VHS families,

On the first day of school, VHS operates an altered schedule for incoming/new students vs. returning students.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO VHS (THIS INCLUDES RISING 9TH GRADERS FROM MCM)
New students, including rising ninth graders from McM and other families new to the high school, will follow the normal schedule for an 8:00 a.m. start time at VHS that includes orientation activities and a shortened version of the school schedule so students can visit all their classes, meet their teachers, and start the school year with confidence.

• Fauntleroy: 7:05 a.m.
• Southworth: 7:20 a.m.
• Point Defiance: 6:45 a.m.

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING STUDENT TO VHS
Your school day begins at 10:15 a.m. on Monday. Students coming from the north end ferry need to be on the ferries below to sync up with bus service to the high school. Students coming from Point Defiance will need to take the 9:00 a.m. Metro Bus from the Tahlequah bus stop.

• Fauntleroy: 9:30 a.m.
• Southworth: 9:20 a.m.
• Point Defiance: 8:25 a.m.
